It all started with a question:
InEvent was created at Silicon Valley by a group of engineers. In 2011, its founders were students at Draper University, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Illinois Institute of Technology seeking to further extend their professional experiences. Through a series of international exchange programs, they met startups and began to attend networking events, where they realized that event technology was a great untouched opportunity.

The turning point came in 2014 when the team joined the Lisbon Challenge, one of the largest acceleration programs in Europe. They worked alongside industry mentors for three intense months, pushing their vision forward. With crowdfunding support from Indiegogo, they opened their first branch outside the U.S., laying roots in Europe.
In 2015, InEvent became part of Open Startups, a Stefanini innovation program for sales and marketing. The years that followed were a whirlwind. By 2016, InEvent had grown exponentially, servicing global corporations like Coca-Cola, Amazon, and Santander. Thousands of attendees were now using the platform. But it wasn't just about growth. In 2017, we expanded to Asia, powering events for over 40,000 attendees and earning recognition as leaders in event technology. By 2018, we transitioned to a subscription-based model, same year, we celebrated 1 million users and were named Best Startup at the UK Tech Awards.
From those humble beginnings to today—a global presence in 182 countries, a passionate team of over 100 people, and more than 1.1 million events powered — we’ve stayed true to our purpose: making events more straightforward, impactful, and unforgettable.
